Students of MIPA Respond to the Question ‘Why Journalism?’
The 2014 Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) Summer Workshop has brought high school journalists from all across the Great lakes region to Michigan State University. For five days, students fully immersed themselves in their own passions, ranging from photography to graphic design to opinion writing. Inspired by the ’50 people 1 question’ style, MIPA students answered the question ‘Why Journalism?’ based on their diverse backgrounds and array of aspirations.
