After serving as Editor-in-Chief of Divine Child High School's online newspaper for a year and a half, Sean's proud to be able to serve for The Upstart during his third (!) year at the MIPA Summer Workshop. Having been published in both the Detroit Free Press and USA Today, Sean brings years of experience and knowledge to the table to make The Upstart a better newspaper for all of MIPA, Outside of the newsroom, however, Sean enjoys writing creatively and spending time with friends watching movies. A movie buff, Sean prefers drama and action films - his favorites include The Social Network, Gone Girl, and Mad Max: Fury Road.
