Advanced InDesign class begins with basics

Kicking off their time at the conference, the Advanced InDesign class spent their time reviewing the basics that “most kids already knew,” according to instructor Jim Woehrle.

“It’s about designing the pages like they know how, but doing it faster and with more advanced tools,” said Woehrle.

Learning new tips and tricks for speedy, streamlined page design is what Caroline Filips from Seaholm High School is most looking forward to in the class, she said.

“By the end the goal is to have them designing pages that they can use in their newspapers when they go back to school,” said Woehrle.
