Both Beginner and Advanced InDesign classes have gotten off to a good start so far, according to instructors Jeremy Van Hof and Jim Woehrle, with only a few bumps and bruises along the way.
Many students agreed.
Brian Palmer, from Rochester High School, said, “We had some technical difficulties. It slowed us down some.”
But slowed down or not, Advanced Journalism students are working on several projects.
“We’re looking at how to use InDesign and learning how to use different designs.” Austin Bowerman, also from Rochester High School and also in Advanced Indesign, said. “Today we’ve laid out a Katy Perry article.”
Woehrle said he was happy with what he’s seen. “(The students) seem to be engaged in what they’re learning,” he said.
Van Hof had a similar statement. “The students are picking (InDesign) up quickly this year,” he said. By Camille King / Upstart Staff
