Nicole Wilson’s Money Matters class teaches a handful of students how to successfully use advertising to support their publications.
“What makes you awesome?” Wilson asks the class, hoping to plug individual talents into techniques of money making. With students coming from all different backgrounds, she aims to find ways to tailor her class towards individuals, rather than the group as a whole.
“I want to find a more consistent source of income for our paper,” said Jack Mangold, business associate for Lakota East High School and member of Wilson’s class. “I think this is the right class for me.”
