During the morning of July 30, Ike Lea’s Sports Photography class will travel to different parts of Lansing. The first place is a gym called TwistStars, a gymnastics facility that used to be called The Summit.
Later in the day the students will travel to the Lansing Community College (LCC) where they will take pictures of the summer volleyball camp. Attending their drills will be able to help photographers learn without interrupting the practice.
Tonight, the photographers will get on their bus and head to Lugnuts stadium. Students who want to snap some photos usually have to stay in the stands and try to get a good shot from there. The MIPA students get to have front row access by being behind home plate. They get to have full V.I.P. treatment that can go on resumes and job applications.
